Hebbal Flyover to Nandi Hill and Back

Recently, October 2 to be precise did the Nandi Hill Ride. Started off form the India Oil Bunk just after the Hebbal Flyover along with Venkatesh at 6.15 am. Venkatesh was on his Colnogo and i was on my MTB,(Merida SUB40V)

Caught up with Iggy on the way. Girish picked him up in Venkatesh's Scorpio. We reached the turning off the NH to Nandi at around 7.15 am, and iggy started cycling form this point on his Merida TFS100V. Reached the Base of Nandi at around 8 am. Had the usual tea. Me and Iggy started of up the hill and Venkatesh was waiting for Rushi and the Gang. Iggy took off up the hill and I followed slowly. Venkatesh and Rushi wizzed past me on their Colnogo and Specalized just 2 KM up the hill. I stopped to stretch between the Two hills and Phil went past me on his cyclo-cross. Caught up with Iggy on the difficult part of the climb and passed him. When I just reached the top of the hill Venkatesh, Rushi and Phil were starting down. Took 50 minutes to compleate the 8 KM climb.

Reached the top, got down my seat for the down hill. Did the down hill in 10 minutes. Caught up with the rest at the bottom. Venkatesh, Rusi, Phil and Iggy decided to do the climb once again. I decedided aganist it and headed back to Banagalore. Had a bite on the way and reache Hebbal flyover at around Noon.

This was a pretty good ride for me as i had not completed the previous Nandi hill race organized earlier.
